Beautifully carved into dark green Jade, The Buddha of compassion – Guan Yin – stands on a lotus flower. Our problems are the mud that helps the lotus flower of peace grow. No mud, no lotus! Our problems are what lead us on the path of healing.
Revered by Buddhists and Taoists, Guan Yin’s name means ‘she who hears the cries of the world’. Amulet (also called talisman) means “an object that protects a person from trouble”.
Shi Yan Lei is carved in gold on the back.
