From Monday 30th January – Saturday 4th February I’m teaching a Longevity Qigong and Fitness Intensive Program at the Shaolin Temple UK in North London. This program is the same as my live Zoom masterclass with the addition of learning Kung Fu forms; Wu Bu Quan ( 5 stance form) and Si Bi Quan ( stamp block punch), which we don't have room for online. There'll be the opportunity for lots of feedback so you can really master yourself
If you already know the movements then this program will deepen your understanding and you will learn how to pass these valuable teachings to other students. If you’re just beginning and you don’t want to teach, you can use this program to learn.
The focus will be on wellness and fitness through Longevity Qigong and Kung Fu forms so that what you learn is suitable for health seekers as well as martial artists. If you’re already a personal trainer or a yoga teacher, you can use these teachings as another strand to help your clients gain total mind and body wellness.
The Shaolin Temple is a temple of Zen therefore the classes are not theoretical. Theory doesn’t transform. You’ll be taught through body language so that you gain personal experience and muscle memory. This is not about reading a menu, it’s about tasting the food.
If you’ve ever been to China, you’ll see elderly people in the park in the early morning practicing some of these movements. And if you go to the Shaolin Temple in China, you’ll see young disciples practicing the same movements. The elderly people do the movements slower and practice more Qigong where as the young disciples will be fast and do less Qigong. It’s about adapting these time-tested movements so that they are suitable for all ages.
Session 1: 7 am – 8.30 am – Park run then stretching and stamina training.
Breakfast: 8.40 am
Session 2: 10.30 am - 12.00 pm - Traditional Kung Fu forms
Lunch: 12.10 pm
Session 3: 2.45 - 4.15 Longevity Qigong ( 8 Treasures Qigong) and Instant Health massage
Dinner: 4.45 pm
The price includes 3 sessions of training and 3 meals per day. On Satuday we will have 2 sessions of training and 2 meals then finish after lunch. If you’d like to teach, there will be a separate online exam which is not included in this training program.

How do I reserve my place? We are a small group and places are limited to a maximum of 20 people. Shifu needs a minimum of 10 people to proceed with the class. Please book early. Email firstname.lastname@example.org. You will be sent an application form and details on how to pay. Payment is via bank transfer. If you can't make it, I'll be teaching a zoom masterclass in February.

Cancellation: If you cancel 4 weeks before your arrival date, we will be happy to refund you minus a cancellation fee of £100.00. If you cancel less than 4 weeks before your arrival date, there is a cancellation fee of 50%. If you cancel anytime in the week before your arrival date, there is no refund.
