Where Practice Becomes Power


The true nature of our mind is expansive and peaceful, and is always within our grasp. Shaolin martial arts originate from the founder of Zen, Damo. Qigong and Kung Fu movements are designed to relax the mind and body from within. But like iron that glows red when heated in the fire and then turns black when pulled out, unless we commit to our practice, we cannot transform our mind and body.

Commitment takes faith. Faith is like a seed from which positive things can grow. There is a Buddhist saying: When the mind is free of doubt, whatever you wish can be achieved.

Alongside your regular practice, every now and again commit a bit more time. Do what you can manage. This can be:
