Portable Zen Altar

Zen monks and nuns often travelled between monasteries, and many of them carried a portable shrine with them. This intricately carved Buddhist Shrine opens up to reveal Amitabha Budda at the centre of the shrine with two Bodhisattvas on either side of him.
