Jade Rare Energy Stone – Zhong Kui #2
Zhong Kui is regarded by Chinese people as the guardian of ghosts and demons. He is often placed in people's homes and businesses to protect them. By drawing on his energy, it is believed we can avoid calamity and bring on good fortune.
In this beautiful hand carving, Zhong Kui has a long flowing beard and carries a fan.
Chinese people often carry an energy stone in their pocket and take it with them everywhere they go. Sometimes it is just a clear stone, sometimes it is shaped into a symbol. These pieces are unique; there are no two that are exactly alike. Over time, Jade not only grows in value but it is believed that it grows in power as the user carries it. Energy Stones are hand-carved from a stone that the carver believes already carries the energy of the object it is about to carve. All of our energy stones come from Shifu Yan Lei’s province, Xin Jiang.
